Which one makes you feel that kind of happiness that feels like intense relief? That one is my favorite; when I went to San Francisco the first time and the sun started setting I felt a cool breeze sweep across as I was by the old tower; this intense euphoria came over me because I was just so happy to be there, and felt like one of my dreams had come true. It felt like a movie and I was getting tickling and tingling all across my body and I wanted to giggle and cry at the same time. I just ask because I've had different types of happiness throughout my life and was wondering if it's specific to a certain hormone or if everyone just experiences it subjectivity. :)

Could you explain the following: with cocaine and ritalin, people who suffer frkm anxiety disorder feel more anxious (even paranoid) and they do not experience that famous addictive 'high'. I would like to know why that is.

Some people with depression are taking SSRIs (serotonin) when their problem is actually dopamine. What astounds me is the lack of knowledge of some doctors in regards to this.

Shouldnt antidepressants then also have the same effects? The more yiu take them the more you need them.

yes but usually with antidepressant you take them to help you improve your current situation until your at the point you don't feel you need it any more and then they slowly take you off. the point of them is to help you while you can learn methods of controlling your depression or anxiety through meditation and mindfulness. some people still struggle with this and stay on an ssri for years and that is why more research is still needing to be done in to mental illness

Yes I get extra cranky when i stop medicating. For about 36 hours. Then it's ok. Stop any habit and there is a drop on some measure of comfort.
