I believe that this reality is essentially an experience that our conscious-awareness creates. Imagine a universe where no sentient life forms exist, how would anyone know that anything exists? There would be no observer to acknowledge reality, in my opinion there must be a conscious observer for this reality to exist. I think if there is a God then it is the original consciousness, and we are all manifestations of that, it observes reality and we experience what it creates. That's what I think anyway.
